We plan to do a webstreaming of the event for those who would like to join us at 00.00hrs IST (Indian Standard Time) that is 7pm in Ireland
from different parts of the world on http://www.livestream.com/ekataa
We will be trying this for the first time so kindly excuse us if there are any unpredictable technical hitches.
My request - the important thing is to try to deeply feel a sense of Oneness with all human beings and creatures on earth as one celebrates the coming of another year.

Doing something you love!
It has always baffled me that so many people are in jobs that they don’t enjoy. That foreboding feeling that rises inside every Sunday afternoon. The very same anxiety I felt when I was in school. The dreaded thought of the end of your weekend and returning to the mundane routine.
I am very fortunate. Making a decision many years ago to focus on always trying to do something that makes me feel alive inside. It’s challenging at times. Sometimes it slips you by and you realise your back in a rut. Nevertheless, when you keep working at it, the right doors open. So, when the Lucca Leadership CEO role became my newest adventure, you can imagine how good it felt inside. A charity I have now volunteered with for over 4 years and a vision that is totally aligned with my own, ‘to be a catalyst for lasting change by developing leaders who serve the world.’ How more amazing can it be to serve an organisation that values are so necessary to our society, now more than ever.
Thank You for giving me the opportunity to Make the Difference. I’m so excited to be taking over from Robert. I suppose, the knee jerk reaction might be, to be nervous, taking the reigns from such a capable and passionate guy. I feel fantastic and quite honoured. Also, I feel secure knowing that I have the Lucca Leadership community around me to support and guide me when needed. 2011 is going to be an exciting and challenging year and its our strength together that will get us through all obstacles. I look forward to meeting as many of you humanly possible in the coming months. Make sure to keep connected and let me know your thoughts, ideas and suggestion. sam.lyons@luccaleadership.org
